Overview:
SLO Sail and Canvas makes the best Sunfish sailboat covers on the market - at a great price.
Our Sunfish top cover will fully enclose your Sunfish deck, protecting the topsides from the elements. It fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and webbing loop tie down points. This cover also has a cutout for the rudder gudgeon.
You can add straps (click here for more information), a bow (eye) cutout, and/or reflective tape in the upgrade menu found above.
This deck cover is compatible with our Sunfish hull cover if you want to completely enclose your boat. We offer this cover in three different fabric types and in multiple colors. Look over the fabrics in the drop down chart below and then make a selection from the options above.
The measurements below correspond to the measurement diagram above for the Sunfish®:
A (Length over all) = 165.5 inches
B (Transom)=24 inches
C (Max Beam)=48 inches
D (Max Beam to Bow)=77 inches
If you are unsure if your sailboat is a Sunfish®, please check these measurements on your boat. There are many Sunfish® clones out there. We have covers for some of them on our web page including the Rocket by Fulcrum, Phantom, Pointer 14, Scorpion, and the SeaGull. Also, if you find that your boat doesn’t match the measurements for any of these, just take a few photos of your boat and send them to us along with the measurements from the drawing. We should be able to make a custom cover for your boat from this information.

Sunfish Sailboat boat deck cover
I own two Sunfish Sailboats. I ordered a Jockey Red cover with the option straps with buckles for my red deck sunfish. My thought was to see if I was satisfied with it before ordering a second. I was very pleased. The fabric was strong and the straps with buckles were well secured and easy to use. I expect them to last for years. With that satisfaction, I ordered a second deck cover. This one a Pacific Blue to match the white deck with blue trim. They both fit perfectly and the boats are now stored for the winter. My Second SLO Canvas Boat Cover!
I just received my second SLO Canvas Boat Cover after acquiring and restoring a 1970s-vintage Sunfish - our second 'Fish in the family. Our first cover was for our previous boat, an O'Day Daysailer 3, and I was so impressed with the quality and durability of that cover, it made perfect sense to return to SLO for this cover.
My decision was also helped by the fact that our first vintage Sunfish came with its own SLO cover, which is several years old, but looks like new. Ordering was simple and delivery happened in just a couple of weeks, ahead of schedule. So now I have two matching blue SLO covers in my backyard.

1st season a success!
I'm thrilled with the SLO Sail and Canvas cover on my sunfish. I took advantage of the "bow cutout" since I moor my sunfish in Cape Cod Bay. The "TopGun" cover exceeded my expectations in keeping the deck clean and keeping water from seeping into the well and hull. Mark on 28th Sep 2022

Bought in 2019 and still looks new
I bought a cover for my sunfish in 2019 and it still looks new. I went with the Sunbrella fabric with the 10 year warranty/expected life because I keep it outside year round. Unfortunately I see the prices went up by 50% since 2019. I guess that's just more of the sign of the times. Dave from NJ on 27th Jun 2022

Great Product!
I was so happy when the top for our Sunfish sailboat came in the mail. It makes the boat look brand new when it is in the garage. We got the top gun material and were able to trailer the boat to the lake. Very happy to have learned of this great small business. Unknown on 16th Dec 2021
