Overview:
SLO Sail and Canvas makes the best Sunfish sailboat covers on the market - at a great price.
Our Sunfish top cover will fully enclose your Sunfish deck, protecting the topsides from the elements. It fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and webbing loop tie down points. This cover also has a cutout for the rudder gudgeon.
You can add straps (click here for more information), a bow (eye) cutout, and/or reflective tape in the upgrade menu found above.
This deck cover is compatible with our Sunfish hull cover if you want to completely enclose your boat. We offer this cover in three different fabric types and in multiple colors. Look over the fabrics in the drop down chart below and then make a selection from the options above.
The measurements below correspond to the measurement diagram above for the Sunfish®:
A (Length over all) = 165.5 inches
B (Transom)=24 inches
C (Max Beam)=48 inches
D (Max Beam to Bow)=77 inches
If you are unsure if your sailboat is a Sunfish®, please check these measurements on your boat. There are many Sunfish® clones out there. We have covers for some of them on our web page including the Phantom, Pointer 14, Scorpion, and the SeaGull. Also, if you find that your boat doesn’t match the measurements for any of these, just take a few photos of your boat and send them to us along with the measurements from the drawing. We should be able to make a custom cover for your boat from this information.

Outstanding Quality and Craftsmanship
After contacting SLO customer service and having all my questions answered, I ordered the TopGun material for my spar bag and boat cover. We live in a harsher climate in Maine, and trailer our Sunfish to different sailing spots. Upon arrival, I was thoroughly impressed with the thickness of the material and the quality of craftsmanship. I looked at many online vendors that make similar products and am very glad I chose SLO Sail and Canvas. The extra cost for the Top Gun material is worth it... you won't be disappointed! Fits perfectly
It's going to snow tomorrow, so I went out today to put the new cover on the Sunfish. I was a little concerned because it's pretty cold out today and at first it seemed like the cover might not be big enough. I wasn't looking forward to struggling in the cold with a cover that didn't fit.
But after working with it a few minutes I realized it was just a snug fit (as it should be) and required a little gentle persuasion. I got it in place and nicely tied down, so we are now ready for the snow.

Fits Like a Glove!
After years of winter neglect and abuse my little Sunfish finally has some "TLC". Top Gun cover looks great (but I am a bit worried how the plastic buckles will hold up over the Maine winter). Year Round Coverage
A cover that provides "coverage" around the year. This design protects the boat now while snow is swirling around and the design will keep it protected when sitting on the buoy next summer.

Very impressed
This is the second SLO cover I've ordered. The first was for my 1960 Vintage Banshee. It fit perfectly, and has weathered well during the last three seasons. But what I appreciated most this time was the timely delivery.....just before we were hit with a major coastal storm!!!! My Sunfish is snug and has been put away for the winter's duration. Thank-you!!!!
