Job Description: Production Sewing and Prep - Boat Cover Department

We are hiring full-time, permanent positions for the Boat Cover Trampoline department starting immediately. We are willing to train the right people to learn what we do. We value an entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, and teach-ability in a highly specialized and fun business.

THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Cutting, sewing, and finishing boat covers. Building component parts for production. Preparing supplies for boat cover builds. Learning to use manufacturing tools and machines such as our 40' long plotter, sewing machines, binders, bar tackers, and more!

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: Can excel in a highly physical job. Has a thirst for learning and problem solving. Is self-motivated and has personal time-management skills. Takes pride in making high quality products. Considers a holistic view of their actions on the product, team, and company. Is committed to learning complexities of hundreds of products and patterns. Is comfortable moving heavy rolls of fabric, and doing floor work. This is a fairly physical job; many patterns are cut by hand on our hardwood floors and a lot of our materials and machines are very heavy.

STARTING PAY: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

COVID-19 Safety: We work in small teams of 2-4 per loft and work with roll-up doors open for airflow. Schedules are currently staggered to allow for teams to physically distance. If invited to interview, we do require masks and will hold the interview outside our lofts.
