Overview:
Our Sunfish® mooring cover fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water.
This cover is installed with the mast up and the spars and sail down. This cover is held on by an elastic cord in the hem of the cover; there are also tie down points about every three feet around the cover. There is a cutout for the mast that has a tall tie-on collar; the mast cutout is connected to the side of the cover with a large #10 YKK zipper between the mast cutout and the starboard gunwale. The zipper is also covered with a flap of fabric to increase UV resistance. The spars and sail that protrude off the back of the boat are covered with an attached Velcro on flap that wraps around the spars, protecting your spars and sail from UV damage.
This sailboat cover is compatible with our Sunfish® hull cover if you want to completely enclose your boat.
You can add straps (click here for more information) and/or a bow cutout in the upgrade menu found above.
We offer this cover in three different fabric types, look over the fabrics in the drop down chart below.
This cover will work best and allow for the main halyard to remain completely run through the masthead and deck leads if it is 29 feet long or longer. Shorter main halyards will work but you may need to partially unreeve them to make it all work fine. The SLO Sail and Canvas Sunfish Line kit will be nicely compatible with this cover. Great value
I ordered these covers for 2 sunfish I purchased last year. As stated, it took about 6 weeks for them to arrive. But the wait was worth it. The quality and craftsmanship is superb. I'm able to put the covers on and take them off by myself with no problem. I bought bungie cords to secure the cover using the second set of loops front and back. They work great. Great value, perfect fit

Sunfish Cover
I waited too long to order it and won't be using it until next year. I checked it out in the living room and it looks like will be perfect. The quality looks fantastic and functional for our use. Our Sunfish lives on a float during the season and it will be great to have the mast and sails on the boat rather than dragging them to the lake from the garage. We'll use the boat more often. Fits Great
My last boat cover lasted 16 years. My Sunfish is stored on a PVC boat launch 4 months every Summer. I'm a tall guy so my boom is mounted farther forward than my sailboats but the cover was large enough to handle the boat, boom and mast without any changes. Sunfish Cover-mast up

Third one is the charm...
This third one is replacing the 1st one (10 yrs?). When the second one needs replacing we will up grade to Sunbrella too.
