If you are unsure if your sailboat is a Sunfish, please check these measurements on your boat. There are many Sunfish clones out there. We have covers for some of them on our web page including the Phantom, Pointer 14, Scorpion, and the SeaGull. Also, if you find that your boat doesn’t match the measurements for any of these, just take a few photos of your boat and send them to us along with the measurements from the drawing. We should be able to make a custom cover for your boat from this information.

The ultimate marine cover fabric Top Gun is a 100% polyester high-count woven base fabric with an acrylic impregnated coating. This fabric is super high strength and abrasion resistant making it trailerable at highway speeds! This cover also boasts a 5-year warranty against color fading and loss of strength in the sun. The fabric is waterproof and resists mildew UV and chafe. It fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and eight tie-down points suitable for trailering. You can upgrade to straps and/or a bow cutout at an additional cost. A bow cutout exposes the bow eye for easy tie down. This deck sailboat cover is compatible with our Sunfish hull covers in order to completely enclose your boat.

All of the sewing on our Top Gun covers is done in Tenara thread for the ultimate UV resistance. Tenara thread has a 15-year warranty against UV degradation. For those not familiar with Tenara thread it is a Teflon product by the W.L. Gore Company the manufacturers of Gore-Tex. By using Top Gun fabric and Tenara thread we are giving these covers a 10 year + life span.
