These top of the line sails are proudly designed and manufactured in our California sail loft. Our expert sailmaker has meticulously designed these sails to give you every possible advantage at the starting line. They are carefully constructed to come within millimeters of meeting the class maximum size regulations.
Special Features -
*Cloth Material: Dimension-Polyant 4 ounce Square Weave Ripstop cloth (also called 170 SQ HTP+)
Heavily resinated, very light weight, and super strong cloth for maximum performance in all conditions
Minimum weight for cloth to race in the Capri 14.2 class
This is the same cloth used in world championship level racing and the Olympics
*Vinylester tapered leech battens (from Bluestreak/Challenge) for smooth leech exit
*Shelf foot on the main to allow you to tune the camber depth of the sail with your outhaul
Completely flatten for upwind sailing in heavy air
Ease the outhaul to become very deep downwind
*Low friction integrated outhaul slide
*Special lightweight headboard
*Window in the jib
Window material is a super low stretch and very clear 7 mil mylar monofilm
Maximum window size allowed for racing at 7 square feet
*Your choice of hanks or a luff wire
*Sailbag for a rolled sail
*Capri 14 class insignia and sail numbers in color of your choice (black, blue, red)
*Computer designed using Autometrix SMSW6 Build 29 sailmaking software, cut out on our in-house CNC plotter/cutter, and sewn right here in our SLO sail loft.
