The Venture Cat line was produced by MacGreggor in the late 70's through the 80's and possibly into the 90's. If you have a Venture 15 you should check which model you have. There were two basic styles manufactured a 'Straight Hull' and 'Banana Hull' version. The straight hull model somewhat resembles a Prindle 16 hull shape whereas the banana hull model has a considerable amount of rocker like a Hobie 16

There is considerable variation in the widths of the Venture 15 banana hull models. Please measure the width across the side beams on your boat and let us know the width. Measure all the way across- outside to outside- the maximum measurement. We have seen boats ranging from 88 to 92" wide outside to outside (most boats measure 88Ó). Be sure to measure the width both at the bow and stern end of the beams as this can be different as well. Just send us a message to slosailandcanvas@yahoo.com with your boat's width. We manufacture a 'sleeve' style trampoline similar to the trampoline that came originally on the boat. This means that disassembly of the beam structure is required for installing the trampoline on the boat. It is not difficult and the assembly manual for the boat is posted on www.minresco.com/v15/images/vc15.htm Be sure that you can disassemble your boat before purchasing this trampoline. We also make a one-piece trampoline for the Venture 15 banana hull that does not require boat disassembly. We put the shroud cutout 20"-21" aft of the forward beam. Please measure this distance as well and let us know if it is different on your boat.
