This polyester sailboat mast up cover will completely enclose your JY15 deck protecting it from the elements. Made from 600 denier solution-dyed polyester fabric this boat cover is waterproof resists mildew UV damage and chafe. (The fabric has a 3-year warranty!) Our polyester JY15 cover fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and eight tie down points. This cover is installed with the mast up and has four cutouts: one for the mast two for the shrouds and one for the forestay. The mast cutout has a tall collar with a ties closer and a large #10 YKK zipper is used between the mast base cutout and the starboard shroud cutout for ease of use and durability. The zipper is also covered with a flap of fabric to increase UV resistance. The forestay and the shrouds have Velcro flap closures. This sailboat cover is compatible with our JY15 bottom cover if you want to completely enclose your boat.
